I just spent the last hour looking over old friends pages, just going from friend to friend and looking at pictures and reading a bit. I've had a FB page since I was in college, but had forgotten about it until november last year. Anyway, i have really enjoyed reminiscing a bit this sat. afternoon. Anyone ever just spend time browsing on there? it's nice to reconnect with some of these people. discuss.

Same. I have some old friends from when I was 10-16 who are now playing college sports, training for the Olympics, have a bunch of kids, ect ect. Crazy.
It is definitely nice to keep in touch with them. FB makes that possible.

I met a really good friend on facebook that contacted me when she saw I was a fan of a page about psychedelics.
I haven't met her in real life yet but she is really awesome.
Facbook has some good shit on it and some stupid shit on it.

yeah, me too for the most part, i still like org's like maps and norml on there though, but I tend to post more about freedom than drugs, since that's the real issue.

Meh, all the friends that I actually liked way back in the day I still hang out with, or still talk to them on the phone and shit. Well, there was one dude I was really good friends with and hadn't seen him since I was 14-15 Turned out he was busted with drugs and just got out of rehab was cool to talk to him but we still haven't hungout.
I also met a couple chicks that I went to school with a long ass time ago, and they got really hot. Definitely gonna try and tap a couple of them

Nah I just removed them all one day on a whim, they were bothering the hell out of me though with all the baby pics and dorky jokes of the day. I'm only close with my immediate family and they dont care what I do on facebook. They can call me if they have something to say........ they always friggin do.

“You see this glass bong?” asks Achaan Chaa, the Thai meditation master. “For me this glass is already broken. I enjoy it; I smoke out of it. It holds my water admirably, sometimes even reflecting the sun in beautiful patterns. If I should tap it, it has a lovely ring to it. But when I put this glass bong on the shelf and the wind knocks it over or my elbow brushes it off the table and it falls to the ground and shatters, I say, ‘Of course.’ When I understand that the glass is already broken, every moment with it is precious.”[/quote]

I like talking to friends through facebook..... but I dont need a family reunion everyday. There is usually a good reason not to communicate with 3rd cousins.

The only way that could be justified is if they were really good at networking and such and it helps them with their work or whatever.
Other than that....

I'm reconnected with some I lost track of 20 years ago. One at least who was VERY special to me until moves and other relationships drifted us apart.
It's interesting to see how the lives of people you grew up with have changed over the years as you've grown apart.
I even have a few enemies of sorts on mine. Keeping an eye on em.
