Oh hell yeah.
I haven't been in a while but it was my main thang for a while.
Got 3 canoes and 4 kayaks.
I got pretty heavy into the white water kayaking thing for a while but, chill canoe flotillas is where it's at imo. I guess that's why I accumulated so many. I could call up a bunch of friends, say let's go and lack of a boat was no excuse.

I go canoeing every once in awhile.
canoe are a lot different than kayaks but navigating rapid in them can be just as fun.
but imo the canoe is much better suited for loading up on beer and weed and chilling in the middle of a lake or a slow moving river

I really wish I could afford a canoe or kayak but they are so expensive. I love canoeing so much though.

I found a canoe, a pretty good one too.
One of the things on my to do list before I die is build a cedar strip canoe and take a long ass solo journey somewhere up north.

you can sometimes find canoes at tag sales You don't always know what you're getting without a test float though

Agreed, bought one a while back that looked good but was majorly tippy in the water. If there was any kind of waves at all your ass was getting wet.
