Possible apartment insepction...

I don't think so, but maybe. My room is ridiculous. I think I would just get a lock for the door. Say I researching bacteria and fungi, the room is a clean room and requires complete sterile conditions before entering the room or else the research will be contaminated.

Is it the landlord who is doing it or someone else, like the health department? I have never had that happen to me before, I mean I have had landlords want to come by once a year or so and just check on things but never called it an inspection but I guess it pretty much is the same thing. By law I know here in MN and back in Iowa they could as long as they gave the proper notice. Do you have any place else you could move things to(I watch your log so I know why you are nervous). By law I think almost all states have it so not sure what you can do but move them some where safe during it.

usually a landlord has to give you 24 hour notice to enter
unless it is an emergency situation. then you get no notice.

Last time they were in the house I just closed my door and stood in the darn hall wall. Not nervous. Just my room mate was talking about it; but it ain't happening.

if he is coming over for an inspection I would break everything down and not even risk it.
Grant it, some landlords couldn't give a shit less, but why even take the risk?

Yep! I got a notice slipped under my door (along with the landlord sticking her nose under the door and sniffing hard) about 9 months ago. They were doing an inspection on monday morning. it was friday. I did some massive research and found a document that told me all about tenant rights in my state. I think it was 24 or 48 hours. i can't remember. They didn't do anything wrong, i remember that. Just before they came in, I made bacon. when they slipped it under the door I had 7 plants in full flower. be careful man.

i wouldn't know.
what's your shroomery nick fungi? You have any pics of this room up there? sounds great. I always used my small bathroom. it wasn't too bad. I couldn't imagine trying to keep a large room in a rental place completely sterile.
