Being honest doesn't make you a dick, but the guy he got it from is a dick for sieving all the trichs and calling it something its not. Calling pickups like we see them benefits everybody. Anyone getting butthurt over buds they didn't grow has issues anyways.

The flip side of that coin being that it could be worse. Look, I guess my point is that the OP should be chewing out the source to get better nugs in the future. Those nugs "look good" to you and you think they might smoke even better, which leads me to believe you might not have a very discerning eye. He should not be settling for re-named mystery stress and neither should you. I understand smoking what you can get and all that, but recognizing what you are getting and rejecting it is a big part of the solution. Failing that, at least call a spade a spade and don't eat shit with a smile on your face. Don't be the guy the dealer thinks about when he's a couple grams short and has a little too much shake basically.
Like coda said its all relative to the person smoking it. Stress can send novice smokers over the moon and mids can melt their brains, but they don't know what schwag and mids are, what they really are, until they've smoked nothing but fire for so long they can't remember and have to revert. Thats the moment of recognition, when bud stops being great or even good just for being.

Thanks
I should have made a car or food analogy in retrospect.
People understand "I ordered a lobster tail, why did I get clam chowder?" when it relates to food. They understand "You told me I was buying a ferrari, why did I get a le car?" when it relates to cars. You're either the type of person who wants what you want (and what you paid for) or you're the type of person to just eat it, to just take it.
The clam chowder will fill your stomach and the le car will (probably) get you from point A to point B, but the fact I can't afford/don't have access to lobster tails or ferraris shouldn't make the le car drive any better or chowder taste any more delicious in my mind. They still are what they are, regardless of where I am or what I have access to.
Its a phenomenon unique to drugs IMO.
I don't mind being an asshole about it if it means the next guy doesn't have to apologize for stating his honest opinion about a pickup. Maybe budhurt is the new butthurt.
