okay so im going to get a 40"x40"x75" tent carbon filter 400w hps cooltube mh and hps. Now my question is since i can only do 1 grow at a time really would it be better to say put 8 autoflowers and harvest every 2.5 months so in 2 grows i could get in 16 auto females yeild an ounce a plant will be likly so that would be plenty. or should i grow regular plants 4 of them.? or should i grow like 4 regular plants and 4 auto that way by the time i switch the 4 to flowering the autos will be ready for harvest almost.
and ill be using 3 gallon pots or would 5 be better? for the reg plants and 3 for the autos?
foxfarm ocean forest and light warrior for seedlings... fox farm nute trio.
6" fan carbon filter
ducting and 6" inline fan for exhaust also
and 4" inline for bottom of tent intake set up will look like this

i MUST grow red dradon from barney farm it looks super nice and also their vanilla kush cuz its kush and ust won 2nd in 2009 cup. as for autos ill get ak47 from lowlife . afghan kush ryder. short stuff blue himilayian.... i love this hobby

said it once and I'll say it again, the best thing for yield would be to ditch that 400 and get yerself a 600'er

lol dude no it wouldn't. Your coffee maker and toaster each use 1200W. My 600W raised my bill by about $20 per month

would that venaltion setup still work or would i have to move up to 8" fans the tent though only have 6" holes.

woah no way man, 8" fan would be seriously overkill for just 600W. I have friends cooling 10,000W with an 8" fan, your 6" will be WAY more than enough still

alright and since everything is in a tent and will be vented right into my room and i have air condition and during winter open windows.. i shouldnt have to worry about FLI.R?

nah man, the tent should be thermal proof anyways, all the good ones are. And, having a slightly warm room is your house is absolutely not a reason for them to get a warrant, you'll be fine.
Now to answer your original question I would go with 4-6 regular plants (not autos) and train them so they fill every square inch of the bottom of that tent. You should be able to get pretty close to a lb with that method which outta keep you smoking for a minute or two

Yeah i think im gonna sale my 400 on craigslist or somthin and use that toward the 600. The yeilds are ok here on the 400 hps but i can see every harvest they really neet that extra wattage.

should i get the 40"x40x78 or 56x56x78? i will be using the green house 600w hps and mh for veg in a cooltube with venilation. would it make a difference? cuz i have room but i dont want to take it up if i dont have too.

Why would anyone grow auto flowers? What because you can't change the lighting to 12/12? Sounds like someone made a strain for marketing purposes or in your case, because you're too inept to change the lighting schedule.
