 Starting a 150watt grow. Should I buy a grow tent, or build my own "grow closet".

So I plan on starting up a small grow for personal use. I plan to use a 150watt HPS for flowering and a bunch of CFL's for vegging, in two separate areas for a constant harvest.
I have a full spare bedroom (without a closet) that I can use. And I also have a closet in my bedroom that I could use, it's roughly 3'x5'x6'.
I see most online grow tents sell for around $100 alone without lights or anything, which seems kinda expensive too me. But the things I like about tents are, 1. They are easiest way to go, no building anything. and 2. They are easy to take apart and transport if my landlord needs to come in my apartment for anything.
So what should I do here...
Buy a grow tent? Build my own grow tents/ grow closest in the spare bedroom? Or transform the closet in my bedroom to a grow closet?

I say build yourself/purchase a cabinet, even an unfinished one, might be cheaper than $100, plus, it looks normal to the untrained eye. You don't want to lose your ladies because someone makes a surprise visit. The idea should be that someone is standing next to it and never thinks twice.

I was thinking about buying two big pieces of plywood to section off a corner of the spare room for the flowering room.
The plywood wouldn't be drilled into place or anything, just set up as temporary walls/doors. And I could cut/drill into the plywood for ventilation holes or whatever and I won't be fucking up my landlords property at all.
The ceilings in my spare rooom are roughly 7' high, so if I got 2 pieces of 7'x4' plywood, i could turn the corner of the room into a 4'x4'x7' flowering room. Would that be too big of an area for a single 150watt HPS?
And then for my veggin chamber, I was thinking i could make something simple out of card-board and duct-tape. I saw someone on here made a card-board grow-hut.
The spare room I'm using has a lock on it that the landlord doesn't have a key too, so there will be no surprise visits in that room.
