Bending Sex

So I have a few bagseeds going outdoors. They are prob about a foot tall with almost no lateral growth but they are looking healthy in 1/2 gallon pots. I plan on planting them in a guerilla spot where there is a little bit of flowing water and I can create a wick system so that I do not have to visit the spot often. The spot in question is all set up and I will put the plants there the minute they show sex and I can weed out the males. It is already late in the season and I want to transplant asap. My question is:
Will bending the plants over (LST) effect the amount of time it takes the plants to show sex? I am thinking I might as well do some LST to keep them low to the ground anyway but time key hurrrr.

Actually yes it will delay the onset of preflowers by as little as a few days to as much as over a week.
I'd wait and let them go, they will branch out later in veg, you still have a lot of season left before they even think about flowering...

Looks nice and happy and also a nice healthy shade of green and no curling of the leaves. Keep it up!
