Mistakes I've made from not researching,is it too late?

So I've known some plants were male for about 2 weeks.
I only threw them out today.
I pulled them out of the pots in front of the others.
The one plant that I knew was female is now growing balls as well.
I've a couple others that haven't shown their true colours yet?
Is this a completely botched effort?
Are they all fucked?

That was the firt thing I tried to do. I was able to get one of the hairs but it's near impossible to get a clear pic on macro mode with my camera but the two balls I've spotted are on the next Y down if you get me.

That's what I mean,I tried to take a photo of them but I couldn't keep my hand steady and also the camera wouldn't focus right.
It would focus,I'd hit the capture button and it unfocused by the time it went through.
There are two balls in the next set of leaves down. I'll try take another photo.

Well, yanking males in front of a female plant is not going to cause the female to grow balls. It may pollinate the female but not force it to grow balls. If your female is growing balls it is a hermy. Could be genetic or could be conditions.

^what he said. Where did you acquire these seeds? I presume they were seeds. If not you know the reason was environmental conditions.

I don't have the terminology down yet.
Well the seeds came from someones outdoor grow last year. The tiny balls must have only come up in the last couple of days, definitely after the hairs.
What's the deal with the hermy, useless? I know I could use it to get seeds but I've other ones that I'm kind of counting on being female,at least one or two, what a balls though.

yes, almost useless in my opinion. If there's trichs on it you can make some budder. You wouldn't want any of the seeds that comes from a hermi either, since the progeny are likely to have the same issue to some degree.

Cheers. You know if that hermy could destroy chances of any of the others being female?

A hermy is not going to "make a plant male" or lessen its chances of being a female. If it's from the same seed stock then its probably a hermy too. Unless it's your conditions that's causing the hermy, and it sounds like it could be both. But the hermy WILL pollinate any females that you get.

So I got advice to castrate the plant and trick it into thinking it doesn't need to grow them. I did that and now she's all woman.

I think this will be another mistake you make by not researching. This time, it might be too late.

Will do. Well there's 9/10 other plants and they're all female so any potential damage caused by this hermy has been(hopefully) doesn't seem to have come to a head...yet.
All I know is there were two definite balls and since I ripped them off 2 weeks or so ago they haven't come back and hairs are sprouting where they were and on lower branches.
Going to check it now just in case.

Good luck! My money is on a harvest full of seeds though.

Can you explain that a bit more? Or share the source of where that advice came from? By castrating you mean just picking the staminate off the plant? They don't just grow at the nodes ya know. They will pop up anywhere a normal calyx would be. that also means deep down inside of the buds later on. Those you wont be able to see. You could spend all day every day looking at a single hermi'd plant and remove every ball you found i bet you'd still end up with a bunch of seeds. Also, you don't always have to learn the lesson the hard way OR through your own experience for that matter. The best thing you can do is read around and learn from the mistakes others have made. This might be one of them. we shall see. But i really hope im wrong and you get nothing but great sensimilla.

Cheers.
Well I was told to just pick off the balls and keep doing it and maybe the plant would just stop making them as it's wasting its time.
It's good to hope anyway. We'll see.
It's weird, the plant that I posted in that crinkly, curled leaves thread is budding the nicest out of them all so far. It's growth is stunted but it's looking nice, many hairs and starting to bloom a bit.
All the others are really slow blooming. Is there anything I can do to improve that? I already switched to bio bloom feed. The plants are still growing away and the stems are getting thicker each day but I just feel the buds are slow in coming on. I was told to expect about an ounce from each one but I just can't really see it happening...
Cheers in advance for any tips anyone can give me.
