I've experienced this, but only after some really really heavy smoking.
If this is occurring after smoking say, a single jay, I'd wager there's somethin not quite right with the bud you're buying.

Ah ok. When I hear the word homegrown, I simply think of very high quality pot. For example, it could be a friends homegrown that you're smoking.
