Yah, see I couldn't find a butane can that had the multiple tips on it like you have. My problem came from the fact that I couldn't get a flush fit with the butane and pen cap.
You say to pack it down too? I was afraid to do that. Figured it would make it impossible for the gas to work its magic.

Over here in the states you get a one size fits "most" type of butane. I'm sure you could find a brand of butane with multiple tips somewhere, but I don't think you'd be able to find that particular brand. Who knows though, someone might stock it.
Anyways, tried again today with slightly better results. My material might not be good enough though as I still didn't get a puddle like you got nor was it that nice amber color. Next time I'll buy better butane and will have better quality bud to work with.

hmmm, ok, I thought that was what you pulled after 1-2 pen loads. Cool, I'll have to hit up the smoke shop to pick up a big can of good butane next time. I'll probably try again next weekend.

Don't see this as being true at all. Hash is hash regardless of extraction methods. I'll smoke bubble, I'll smoke dry sieve, I'll smoke solvent, none of them are novelties and I would smoke all forms on the regular if I could. I don't like butane as a solvent because it's a PITA to work with, but this method is perfect if you just want a little bit of hash and don't want to sacrifice much plant material.

LOL I just did a search on amazon for newport butane and the most commonly purchased items along with it were an herb grinder and the iolite vaporizer.
BTW doesn't look like newport is available in the states although I'm sure I could order it from amazon.co.uk.

I dunno, honestly if you're low on weed just save the bud. .3 isn't much maybe a bowls worth or two IMO.

yah, do that before you eat the shrooms lol. In all honesty if you want to try it and 3 grams of bud is nothing to you, then it's totally worth a go.
