New project, need help with my strategy!

OK, I'll start with the room, Its 235 X 190 (and 285 high), and totally empty. It has a wooden panelled door which can be cut if neccessary, and a window with a heavy wooden shutter which can not be opened as it opens onto a communal stairway.
This is the 'kit' I've bought:
Secret Garden Darkroom 120X120X200cm 600W lamp Cooltube reflector 125mm Sylvania bulb (mixed for grow and flower) RVK 125 Extractor Fan Aluminium ducting Timers etc Easy rollers etc big tray to fill the base of the cupboard pots and soil
I live in a hot country where growing is legal, and have 5 plants growing outdoors. The days start to shortern after June 25th so before then I intend to take 16 clones and grow them indoors.
I have some experience growing outdoors but nothing indoors, and woulkd like some help setting up. ANY help or advice is appreciated!

Lemme see,
I'd get some sort of small thermometer with a probe that you can stick at the top of plant heidth.
Also some kind of veg fert to start, perhaps Floranova green and of course a bloom fert eventually.
Any thought on a carbon filter? Highly recommended.
Another good idea would be to get a pen pH meter and ppm meter.
That's all that I can think of at the moment. I'm sure others will have good ideas.

That great DoPeYsMuRf, thanks, although I'm not sure I need a carbon filter as I like the smell and it's legal to grow here.
I have some biobizz organic nutes and some biobizz allmix soil too.

Yeah, I second the carbon scrubber being that you are close to that stairway.
What kind of soil and what size pots are you working with?

Well the base of the tent will be 120 X 120, the guy in the shop reckons I can fit in 20 plants, but I think I will go for a 4 X 4 grid of 16.
I will be using biobizz allmix for the soil.

Yah, even though I love the smell I don't want anyone noticing it.
Even with a carbon filter you can still smell it when you enter the house(depending on the strain).
Some strains can't be contained I think...
My mom comes to visit and I get sick of her yelling about the smell when she enters the house.
Plus, I don't ever want anyone in my house, for example I have to wait till harvest to get cable tv cause my house reeks.
I want a couch delivered but can't. Don't want the movers to smell it.
It's not much about the law but not letting the cat out of the bag. Some people just don't need to know.
The more people that know means your more likely to have your shit ripped off. Even indoors.
It's just better to keep a grow secret.

Legalities are not your only concern when it come to cannabis cultivation, you gotta think about the potential lowlife's that will smell that sweet aroma and be motivated to remove said plant from your possession.

Right I'm doing quite well. I have the tent set up, with the light, filter and fan all functioning nicely.
Questions:
1.Does the fan have to be on 24 hours? (The lamp is going to be)
2.The clones were made 12 days ago, when do I put them in?
3.The tent is in a small room, about 3 times its size can I keep the door shut?

1. yes, get a fan speed controller, they are under $30 (run the light 18/6, night promotes root growth)
2. they may be ready, wait a few more days & start lowering the humidity, see how they respond
3. you need fresh air from outside, and you need to exhaust outside to if possible, if not make sure to get as much fresh outside air as you can
nice setup

The fan needs to be on when the light is on.
Clones are ready when you see roots.
You need to put a thermometer in your tent to monitor temperature, otherwise you won't know whether to leave the door open or not.

but it's beneficial to have it on always, plants like ventilation at night too, but yeah, it's not required
