Stop being paranoid.
When the Fire Dept. comes around ask if there's anything you can do to help; hand out fliers, knock on doors, whatever. Then do it to the most minimal extent possible unless of course you care.

There was something I heard about a friend of a friend had his house searched because his gf's mom thought something was up like she was missing I don't correctly remember the story much, but his house was searched for something similar.
The cops cut all his plants down and broke his lights and left him with a ballast.
They couldn't take legal action because they were not in the house warranted to search for the plants, they were searching for a woman.

haha dont open the door for cops. yell at them through the window and tell them to break down your door if they have a warrant. otherwise tell them they can talk to you through the window
