Think the average life expectancy of an American would be 80 years if there where no drugs?
I hate when people lump drugs in with drug abuse.
Education is key.
Higher if you count alcohol and tobacco I bet.

It's not that. I just hate trying to convince people that some drugs aren't bad if used properly.
In my state of Iowa, Ephedrine is Illegal to purchase.
I use it responsibly and I get great benefit out of it but people would much rather just make it illegal than try to educate people on the correct usage.
That is completely ass backwards and just wrong.
That's like saying. People get in car accidents so make them illegal.
Bacon causes heart attacks, BAN!
Since they have the term "DRUGS" people have become accustomed to taking the easy way out and talking a blind eye to the real problem.
That is one of the main reasons I'm in Pharmacy school. People need to change the this fucked up system.

It's probably outlawed because of methcooks, not so much people actually consuming ephedrine. Do you have reason to believe otherwise?

They can do what other states do and regulate how much they are allowed to sell and keep federal records.
I have to drive to Missouri when my supply runs out.
I believe your exactly right about the meth cooks. But still, why should the responsible people have to suffer for what the few fuckups have done. It's not fixing the problem. Just ignoring it.
Regulate it, don't eliminate it.

When it's regulated people just get homeless people to buy it for them so they can stock up and cook meth. It doesn't really work.
Why do you need ephedrine? Herbalists often times have it in it's natural form, if you have herbalists near by check that out.

It motivates me and doesn't give me they crappy down and withdraw headaches like caffeine does.
I have tried to find alternatives but I shouldn't have to.
I thought about making my own but really haven't checked out the laws on it.

In places where they limit how many bottles an individual can buy they just have other folks go get it for them after they reach their limit.

But there is a limit to the total number that could be bought.
Make the limit insanely low, and people can just get a low amount of it from multiple individuals.
A low amount from multiple people is < A non-low amount from multiple people.
It's funny how math works.

I like that idea.
Would be more pure too.
Less exploding meth labs too.
If only I could count the number of meth labs I've found wandering the woods.

I really feel that the legalization of all drugs is an inevitability. So long as we can maintain civilization until then. It's a process of intense public education. or re-education.

I agree, that is why I enjoy debating really. I'm not planning on being a politician, but improving my public speaking skills never hurts.
Drug use as a right is almost impossible for people to understand sometimes though.

usually by the people who still claim that this is a "free country" and have no understanding of personal rights.
we'll never be free as long as we're still being arrested for putting chemicals into our own bodies.

In my High School, if you got called a stupid stoner it usually ended up with both people laughing. Literally everyone has smoked, smokes, or wants to smoke (well, I do have some friends that only want to try edibles, not smoke). I am VERY open about pot smoking to everyone, but I haven't told my Mom about my salvia trips nor do I any time soon. She doesn't give a shit about weed, but she got brainwashed with all that "suicidal tendancy" bullshit. If I told my dad we'd probably start sharing stories lol
I've never once been called a stoner in a negative way, and last week on the news they said some study (I can't remember which dammit ) placed Syracuse as 18th in the country for pot smoking - which was rather surprising, but sorta believable (from living here)
