hey guys, so I'm from the shroomery and I've been checkin this site out alot lately. so i found 60 400 watt mh lights and I'm wondering if these will work the same as the lights Ive seen on this site. the guy live around the corner from me and he is selling them $30 a piece. will these work?
Yeah they'll work, the only problem with those reflectors is that they can't be directly cooled. So depending on how big your space is they may make it a little hot in there.

that's what i was worried about.. any suggestions on how to cool off the light itself. and can you get an attachment or something to change to hps bulb?
You can get conversion bulbs. They're HPS bulbs that are designed to work in a MH setup.
I know of no way to cool that hood besides aiming a fan at it. And that really doesn't do any good anyways. Sure the hood will be cooler but your just warming up the rest of the room.
