I have a question to add on to yours, I don't have an answer for you unfortunately.  Is there a place that has the characteristics of strains documented and cataloged in an easy to read form?  That would be a great thing for a large number of people.

There is the Big Book of Buds series, which covers a lot of the more popular strains.

There is a lack of unbiased documentation of cannabis strain characteristics in my opinion.

I wouldn't expect any haze to be of medium height...

Depends what you consider to be medium height. Mango Haze and SuperSilverHaze are 1-1.5m and IMO are manageable indoors.

Bambata is a cross of a South African sativa and a Swiss Sativa 100% sativa and very leaning to the South African. That would be heat tolerant. Probably 1-1.5M tall too closer to 1M in most cases.
