I think I am ready to top and start LST'ing my plants. They are three days short of a month and growing rapidly.
With LST, I just tie down the main branch a bit right?
And with topping, if I do this, is there any need for LST? Would my training the plant with lst even going to benefit if I top.
Also, when I cut the tops of my plants, could I transplant them into soil as clones? Should I wait to top until I can afford rooting agent so I can take the tops as clones?
I recommend tying the plant down (or just bending it) and then topping so that the removal of the primary growth point encourages the lower branches to grow. Just bending it over will only get you so far, but if you want a plant that looks like this then you need to combine the two methods
