so u top after the first set of 5 blades?
do u top first then tie down?
can u even do both?
where can u find those pipe cleaner things for lst? the bendy ones ... are they ok?

you can top whenever you want and do as much tying down as you want. Half the time I don't even tie, I just bend the stem

I top anywhere from between the third or fifth internode after the nursery leaves as a rule of thumb but you can pinch all branch tops off all vegging plants branches plants through out the veg cycle resulting in bushier growth.
I do not LST either, indoors. Indoors if you want to train your pants, Screen of Green/ScrOG is the way to go. IMO

I love LBH's topping/lst tutorial from grasscity it's got some really good pics to follow along with. Check it out man.
I am personally using it atm. It also makes for some really nice clones to snip.

thanks for all the info
my biggest 3 got topped and i can clearly see now why u do this.. it totally opens it up for the side branches
im goin lst them too after they recover. i got all day to veg
