I found some 400 watt high pressure sodium lights at lowes hardware today for like 17$. Will this work? The MH's werel ike 21$.

I'm sure they will work, but its hard to say how long they will last or what kind of light spectrum they put off. Any more information on the package about that, how many lumens they produce, etc.?

1600 or 16000? If it's 1600 you dont want it, if it's 16,000 it'll work but you could buy better.
