    #386390 - 03/18/10 09:18 PM (14 years, 9 months ago)

Which one is healthier for your heart, a glass of beer or a glass of red wine?

I will tell you the answer after this gets voted on for a while.
Healthier for your heart?
You may choose only one

I know that red wine is rich in antioxidants and many
doctors agree that those antioxidants are "heart-healthy"

Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

You are all wrong. Beer is actually proven to be better for your heart. It has B12 in it which is better for your heart than anything wine has in it. Also beer is better for your stomach.

Stupid question.  It depends on the wine and beer and the condition of the drinker.  RED wine would be better for someone with a lot of free radicals in their system, while beer would be better for people lacking B12 with stomach problems.  It also depends on the quantity b/c wine has more alc and alc is bad for every organ in your body.  But as I said, stupid question.

I'm pretty sure this is his source: http://www.nature.com/ejcn/journal/v54/n7/abs/1601061a.html

The reasoning being that the beer drinkers' homocysteine levels were 8% lower, and homocysteine can cause heart disease.

Actually Smoakland you are wrong about alcohol being bad for your body as well. Alcohol is good for your heart because it gets rid of plaque buildup.
