How bad is using to much ph up or down? I adjusted it quite a bit. I didnt write down how much I used either Next time I will. I hope I didnt fuck my plants over

I actually can't tell you, but I just don't like the idea of dumping in tons of Ph up or down to correct a problem. I think the thought of having a lot of phosphoric acid in my solution just makes me nervous. It's much better to follow the less is more rule, even if it's time consuming use small amounts each time. IME 2 ml's of Ph down is usually all I need to bring my solution to 5.8-6.0. My water runs about 8.0 out of the tap, after I add in my nutes it's usually down to 6.8 and since I use only gallon jugs I need tiny amounts of Ph down to correct this to the proper levels. A full tsp of Ph down in my plain tap water is enough to drop it to almost 5.0, so it's pretty obvious you don't need much to drop your levels down to optimum.
