those nugs look so fucking strange. They should rename it " Dr Strangelove ". Can anyone tell me if this was a specific trait of past [ what they call on the website HEIRLOOM sativas ? or if there is any other strain with similar characteristics ?

simple 25% THC- heady sativa with cerebral high and light citrus flavour consistent. not to mention does it look like buds ? imagine the places we could hide this plant in plain sight

Pure sativas always grow with extremely spaced out calyxes. I'm sure this strain is much more for novelty than for anything actually for smoking. Beautiful plant though!

well I mean in terms of commercial viability. Of course if you love smoking pure sativas that would be an incredible strain to go filling your headstash with, but don't expect to yield a gram/watt and make thousands by selling to clubs is all I'm saying.

mmm, as far as cannibinoid ratios go this is bar none for THC% herijuana being the only one that i have seen that is close 24ish% i think. I really wish they would do the % THC with the total dry weight of all organic material. Esp when they only give THC and not % of other cannibinoids because it makes it not as useful, because the THC coudl be 12% but somehow the CBD or something could be like 3% and really get you gimped. I dunno.
peace
Oh and think of this in a auto form, muhahah, total stealth overgrow.

yes, the future is very nice in that regard. When it's all legal I hope that those kinds of thc, cbd, cbn measurements are made on all retail pot. But you know there's really not anything like that for cigarettes, but its obvious why that is. I think pot would be different since it's not a concoction of toxins.

Mexico too.
I'd grow the strain just for the fun of it, but I've heard somewhere that something had tested around 30%, but don't quote me on that.
You would have to guerrilla grow them in an equatorial region.

That's what I would like to invest in man. A system for testing the THC, cbd and cbn content of bud. Think of what you'd be able to breed if you could test a bud from every plant you grew.

I don't think so. Think about how absurd a strain would be that's 30% tbc by weight. Almost 1/3rd of the plant weight is active alkaloids? That's pure insanity

98% of the time the thc% is merly the % of thc in the cannibinoid profile, which has nothing to do with how much plant matter is there! thats why it sort of is useless as a judge of potency, and more of what type of "high" you will get.( although if there is more THC and less useless cannibinoids it will likely be more potent) I know it sounds ridiculous, because it is!! haha. think 22% THC content that is qouted by many companies, thats 1/4 of the mass!, which is equally insane. perhaps in a good honey oil but not pure plant material.
This is from what i have researched, perhaps magash can shed some light.

I don't even know what you're trying to say.
Are you trying to say thc makes up 30% of the cannibinoid profile of some plants? I assure you it's far greater as secondly cannibinoids are much more scarce than thc.
Also, 22% is closer to 1/5 or 20% than it is to 1/4 which is 25%.
You really didn't like fractions in grade school, did you?

haha no im not saying 30% is correct. But if you only extracted some of the cannibinoids it could be possible. AS for 22% being a quarter i was just rounding like the previous poster saying 30 is a third and some strains are quoted at 26ish% in any case so dont get hung up on that. my point was merly that most people think that THC% is the % THC for the entire plant mass. haha i work with fractions everyday in the isotope field better go double check some calcs!!

in the isotope field?
you're going to need to elaborate on that, I've never heard anyone refer to their job as the "isotope field" since that can mean anything from nuclear energy to deltaO18 concentrations in ocean water....

I think once pot is legal we will have those measurements as well as many other useful bits of information to accompany our latest purchase (though why you are still buying pot after it's legalized is beyond me). instead of not wanting people to know anything about your process you will want to share every detail in hopes of attracting future customers. that goes with the shift from gang/cartel produced to professionally grown by a caregiver or whatever we will call them in the future.

Whoa what happened here...?
I was just saying I heard a rumor I didn't believe that. I don't care about %'s because some bud that's super frosty doesn't get me high but other bud that's ordinary looking will destroy my world. Appearance of trichomes I believe has little to do w/ the high associated w/ the herb.

ya Koon why the hate on?? i didnt attack anyone, i just was trying to explain something that i personally thought was misleading. although maybe not as misleading as my fraction rounding haha.. i feel like i just wrote journal article. sesh
Harry, i just assumed most people did not care or know anything about isotopes. yea i work with stable isotopes, ie carbonate, water (like you said delta 18O) for climate reconstruction. im glad you know whats up!!

Very cool, do you specialize in Ice cores, or D O18 in silicate shells from Foraminifera and diatom deposits on the sea floor?
You need to jump into the climate change thread and show Niteowl what's up, I'm the only one in there with any actual experience in the field and he's having a hay day with his ignorance.

haha this explains why you wander around in thought..
ive done various things. phosphates in ancient fish bones, fish otoliths, water, but mostly carbonate in the form of marl in lacustrine sediments. those silicates dont really work, they are a opal(amorphouse quartz) which exchanges O easily with water(does not give you ancient values). some people say if they treat them and take off the outter "shell" it can work. what did you do work on??

I got the unique opportunity to analyze some 450,000 year old Ice-cores at the local Institute for Sub-Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR). They were shipped up from Antarctica and we had the horrible task of counting the cores, and then the fantastic task of chromatography analysis on trapped gases to determine past atmospheric ratios, and then some isotopic analysis to attempt to predict historical temperature trends.
pretty fun stuff

I once documented the effects of alcohol on various insects, not as important but I am sure equally as fun, considering the ant's left me plenty of left overs and the roach didn't go anywhere near it.

lol no umm most of them just walked in staggered lines or stayed still, some died but prolly from downing, I used a cue-tip dipped in everclear to administer so the dose was less then scientific.
