So right now I have 6 plants which have just sprouted and this is all I can fit in my grow room.
So I was wondering, would it be a good idea to increase my yield by vegging the 6 plants untill I can take clones from them, then keep the original 6 plants in a separate vegging room as mothers.
After letting the clones root, could I put them straight into a 12/12 cycle, and use only 1 gallon pots so I could fit up to maybe 15 plants or so total? I guess this would be a SOG grow. This is my first grow btw.
I've read reports of people gaining at least 1 oz per plant by using this method. Anyone have any experience?
SOG is highly efficient in my opinion, and with 6 mothers you'll probably have an abundance of clones. Just make sure when growing in soil that the clones are well established before you flower them. In dirt for your first grow I'd aim for 1/4 to 1/2 an ounce per plant, anything more than that and I'd be happy.
