How do you know if someone loves you
other than them saying the words I love you
For me it is seeing them do little things for me.
Especially when I need (or ask) for their help
If someone loves you then they should be willing to help you

What other ways can you tell that someone loves you?

i don't really think there's like...that "one thing."
i think you really have to know that person well, and like you said, the little things they do. it's almost like you "just know."

How accepting they are. How often they do the shit you want to do just because they know it makes you happy i.e suffering through NFL games on the weekends and hours of video games
I think you can sense it from how a person looks at you too

these are all examples of someone doing something for you
I have a friend who often complains to me that his wife
all but refuses to help him around the house
he is on disability and takes care of the house work
but there are some things that are easier w/2 people
like putting reflective plastic on windows or doing yard work
she is constantly asking him to do her simple favors like
fix her a pot of coffee or run to the store for a pack of cigs
he always does this w/out question, yet she shuns doing him favors
he has often questioned her love for him
he seems to feel like he is being taken advantage of
in my opinion your willingness to help your partner
is a reflection of how much you love them

When she'll get up at 3am with you...drive several hours and wait in line in the pouring rain to help get her man tickets to a phish concert. ( a band in which she could care less about)
