hops and pot can become one?

I'm not sure if I have this right but figured someone may have the answer here. This say's that hops can be spliced in some way to mj plants roots and inherit the alkaloids of pot. I think we need to jump on this quick!! Anyone with experience in grafting roots together please pm me ASAP!!
Note: Several popular books on the cultivation of cannabis have pointed out that hops vines may be grafted to marijuana root stocks. The result is a plant which appears to be a normal hops vine but which contains the active constituents of marijuana. This means that people can raise their own marijuana disguised as hops and not be discovered by law agents. Because of this the government has asked hope growers to refuse to sell hops cuttings to the general public. There are no laws against hops but they are now difficult to obtain. Hops are mostly propagated from root cuttings. Viable seeds are rare.

Yes it can be...
But you'll soon find out how closely hops is protected a lot more so than you think..Of course its getting easier now.
You just would polinate the hops

ok well, there is nothing inherited magically from rootstock. the roots may absorb more water or nutrients and make the grafted plant grow faster or slower. now if there was some water soluble constituet in the roots you were after that in theory could show up in very small amounts. BUT THC is produced in the female flowers in modified hairs or trichomes. Hops has hairs and flowers but will not produce THC in them because its not in its genetics. Yes it can graft no it will not produce THC or get any from the roots because there is none in the roots. hops is a great plant makes beer and has nice effects of its own, but thats where it ends.

The truly interesting thing about hops is that it takes something like 7 or 9 years before it's mature enough to produce flowers. I've heard of guys taking mature cuttings and doing hydroponic hops which produce in something like less than a year... now THAT's cool

he is demonstrating that hops and pot are related.they can be grafted, other then that he is just making shit up and/or is completely ignorant. thats all there is to it you dont think if it was possible it would be being done in a billion dollar industry??

I believe that the roots can grow together and they will be the "same" plant. But I dont think you will taste pot in your beer or smoke a hop joint.

They will just act like the roots of the original hops plant, no genetic traits will be passed from the MJ roots to the Hops plant.
Sorry it just can't be done. But Hops is only grown by a small amount of farmers. Something like 26 families supply all the domestic Hops. So I guess you could say it is rare in a way. I would suppose their personal "strains" are protected for certain flavors obviously.
You can graft multiple strains into the same mother though, now that's some shit, 6 or 7 different colas...
