Auto-flowering plant or light mix up?

Hey all
my plants have been on a 18h of light with 6h off light and last afternoon my plants received only about 7-8 hours of light when my electricity when out for about 30-40minutes.
Just today I saw the female piston with a single hair shooting out meaning it has begun flowering....
So was it due to the light or maybe the genetics?!!!! Thanks for any thoughts or feedback

I just have two T5 Fluorescents but the thing was that I had them outside when they experience 30-40 of darkness then I brought them back inside to the lights.

wait, are you seeing one or two tiny calyxes at the base of your nodes? Are you sure they're not preflowers?

Wait a minute, I don't understand. They're on 18/6 and your power went out for 30-40 minutes. And you lost 10 hours off your light cycle how? I'm confused.

Well this is an embarrassment...... This is what went down,
There are plants being grown a friend’s house who doesn’t know shit about what MJ needs so I give her a grow schedule and she follows it for the most part.
So yesterday I checked on the plants and thought I saw bud development on the plant (but really it was just preflowers) and assumed that (A) The plant auto-flowered or (B) The chick exposed it to more darkness than she had told me like 10hours or more
