So i was just wondering if there was anyone else here that had some experience with them. I guess i will just wait it out a bit and see what folks say.

i have been using sunpusle for about 4 years now and love them i use 2 600 watt spinner http://www.lifelighttec.com/ 6 arm 100 watts each and i use only sunpulse lamps 2 3ks one 6.4 and one 4 and 2 10k. look it says to use only the 10k for the last 2 weeks but with weed u sould use it all the way threw budding it has 92%cri (CRI) is how close it is to the sun now a hps has 22% not alot of spectrum . so buy haveing all the different colors i get closer to the sun. i have bulbs that are 2 and a half years old still fire and run but have color shit witch stated around 2 years, so i bought new bulbs
sunpulse are the best when spinning because they stay so cool u don't need to have all of the cooler and shit that just take up more power, when u use spinners u need a carbon filter, a heater, the spinner witch is the ballast and the light, sunshine mix number 4, and Dina grow and i will grow better than any one who spends 160 on a hps every 6 months because they burn out or people who spend 600 dollors on plant food. its just salts and water not magic people.
no i give sunpulse two thumbs up i have had only one problem and they sent me a brand new bulb free. hps are only reds a plant is really good at using reds so why give it only reds? u need the whole spectrum like plants have had there whole life and what they have had before people stared to grow them under street lights.
sunpulse makes lights for plants not for lumiens and are the only bulb that work on digital ballast.

I'm using exclusively Sun Pulse lights on Lumatek and Phantom digital ballasts. All 1000W lights. I have all the bulbs they make, including the commercial line. The bulbs are great aside from ONE MAJOR PROBLEM. They are extremely unreliable as far as initial firing. Once they fire, you're fine. I have some rooms professionally wired specifically for these lights to run on 240V. I also have some tents that are running on 120V. All wiring has been checked by two professionals.
I'd say I have, on average, a 50% failure rate on initial firing. I can leave them plugged in for an hour. They still won't fire. This is a bitch, because it makes using timers impossible. I cannot trust that a timer will fire, and the lights will come on.
I have no idea what is going on, but I'm going to call the company. They only seem to fire reliably if you insert the plug slowly and get a visible spark as you plug in. If I just shove the plug into the socket quickly, it is a gamble.
Sometimes when I really can't get one to fire, if I take out the bulb and then just screw it back in, it often fires right up.
So, the lights are great..... if they turn on.

Have you had your ballasts checked? I've owned 3 different 600W sunpulse bulbs now and haven't had that issue with a single one. Maybe it's just the 1000W
