LMAO, that's the funniest shit I've heard in a long long time.  that's news to me, but I don't get caught up in who's collaborating with who.  There are only a few bands that I could tell you every member of.  Zeppelin, tool, probably floyd, and maybe another couple i cant recall.

you forgot The Beatles

Updated band list for mayhem.

I probably wont go, I barely have heard some of those bands. I also hate quite a few of those bands.

Hopefully Ozzfest will have a better lineup.

you can count me out of the heavy metal type music festivals.  I went to the family values tour in phoenix a couple years ago.  I got to witness a huge biker dude toss a gallon jug of water as hard as he could into the center of the crowd down below.  I wihs i would have had a gun.  Anyway, I was not too keen on the type of people their.  not my crowd anyway.

that's not everybody at those kind of shows dude. now you're stereotyping. wtf? most people i've met at those shows are cool as fuck. not all of them are dickheads. i saw a guy get his thumb broken so bad last year when he fell down, you could see the bone. everyone in the pit helped him up immediately. THAT'S what it's all about. not fuckin hurtin people.

I just don't listen to them much at all. I don't know more than 4-5 of these bands.

they're postponing the event this year

For 2010, we have had to make the tough decision to postpone our efforts.  A contributing factor in our decision is that, due to various artists’ recording and touring schedules, we now believe that timing will not allow for us to assemble the cutting edge roster that everyone has come to expect from ROTHBURY.

Sometimes stereotypes are right on the money.  I guess I should only say that a LOT of the behavior i saw at FVT wouldn't be tolerated many other places.  Yeah, it's a lot of fun to get not one, but three cups of beer tossed all over you from an unknown direction.  You HAVE to be a fucking savage to do that man.  I have no respect for that kind of behavior.  I never see that shit going on at a music and arts festival.  Im sure it happens, but def. not like what i witnessed.  I think the line up was atreyu, some other band, evanescence and then korn played.  The music was great, i just didn't have the best time with the people I initially surrounded myself with.

yeah, im sure that's true for some people.  im not one of them tho.  i am softcore at my hardest.   well that's not entirely true after a half dozen tool shows being in the first few rows.  but to get this back on top I'll restate my vote and put it toward a music and arts festival vs. a music tour.  Bonnarroo might be the best one to get the biggest turn out.  seeing as it's kind of in the middle of the eastern states.
