Weird leaf discoloration? Necrosis?

Hi All, this is on my Pineapple express clone, about 2 days after I transplanted to a 3 gallon bucket. there has been noticeable new growth since then, but just in the last 6 hours or so some of the leaves have started to turn VERY dark green, almost black. they aren't brittle or dry, but very discolored. I hope these pics can do a little justice.

Hey do you do foliar feeding or did you damage the root system because I have never seen that on bud before but I was doing genetic munipulation with coleus a few months back and I had that happen from the plants staying in a humid environment which caused their stomas to gap wide open and start to die from sensitivity to nutes and the roots had been damaged so they couldnt keep up.

how did you finally cure the problem?
I sprayed the plants today with "Don't Bug Me" from foxfarm. it's not a nutrient, but a pesticide of a type, so maybe that could do it.

Thats your answer man. Now that I think of it I saw that like a year ago when spraying some 12in babies with a heavy pesticide due to thrips. I sprayed them hardcore with water and did a soil flush. All discolored leaves died or had to be trimmed but the plants went on to produce pounds outdoors, however I did see more mutant leaves than normal in the next seed set though.

well fuck. I already washed off the leaves and flushed the pot, so I guess just let it finish out? I was planning on this becoming my mother plant for future grows... did I just totally fuck up the genetics?

Thats what I cant say for sure, I do not know if the genetic fuck-up only becomes prominent generation to generation or just simple continual growth. I mean you have some pineapple express, just chill on it and see what happens. If things go for the crappy, I can take it off your hands. One quick thing, from my research on corn and pesticides you should be fine.

well I wouldn't be propagating generationally anyway. I'm taking clones so it would have to directly influences DNA transcription to cause a permanent problem. prolly nothing to worry about

I'd say you're fine. Do you have your mom under an HID? Leaving droplets of water on your leaves while they're under a lamp can cause damage like that. The beads of water act like a tiny magnifying glass.
Whatever the root cause was I don't really see it fucking over your mom in any way.

yeah these are all under my 600W right now. there's nothing in there so I figure why veg with CFL's when I've got $800 of lights sitting there unused. planning on building a mom's cab eventually anyway with a 400W
thinking about going to HD tomorrow and building an aeroponic cloner. 5-6 days for these plants to get adjusted to their new buckets and then it's cutting time

so as predicted those leaves turned brown and died. the plant is still growing strong and producing new leafs, but I'm a little worried about how these new leaves look. is this just another side effect from the pesticide? I can't decide if I want to let this grow out and see if it fixes itself or if I want to cut all the injured stuff off and just let the plant start anew with good growth points...
the odd thing is, this bubblegum plant recieved the exact same treatment and isn't showing any of these issues...

Bubble gum is very resistant to pesticides. The new leafs dont look good but as time goes on it should correct itself. Re-mist the leafs, especially the bottoms and just let them live.

should I cut off the damaged part so it stops putting energy into trying to correct it? I'm thinking it'll be quicker to just have the plant produce all new growth than try to repair all that shit

Ok so time for an update. the pineapple express looks much much better
Now my question is for my bubblegum... it's been growing incredibly fast, but it's recently started to display some tiny brown spots on about 4 or 5 of the lower fan leaves
I would think it's something with the pH or a nutrient deficiency but my seedlings in the aero system are showing a little of the exact same symptom...
I'm wondering if I maybe just splashed some nute solution on the leaves or something? I'm pretty sure I don't have any bugs...

I'm feeding the aero seedlings at half strength of what I give my hempys, and my hempys are at half strength of what they get during flower. I'm at 0-5-10 using the lucas formula

Is a 0-5-10 solution the only fert that your using?? No nitrogen in your fertilizer?? Are you supplementing with anything?? Like cal/mag or liquid karma??

I am growing the PE myself and I can tell you that it can take a lot more N, just by the color of your foliage. It is a N whore in my book. I took a pic of one my PE clones I have vegging right now, that is still not as green as it can get, but you can tell we both have the same PE. I think G13 Labs is the only one putting out a PE ATM. As you can see from my newer growth that mine is suffering from a minor sulfur deficiency, which I am correcting with Sweet. The picture and the sulfer def. make it look lighter green than it really is but I have seen this strain get almost blue. Try to get it this blue color before you put it in flower, that way it has a good amount of N stored up in its' tissues for the stretch. Otherwise, you will be playing catch up with the grow ferts when you could be pumping it with P and K.

no sorry the 0-5-10 was referring to the lucas formula. or in other words grow-micro-bloom quantities in ml/gallon.
I guess this forumla isn't very beneficial for trying to individually augment different nutrients.... I suppose I can up the N by giving it more micro but I'm afraid that might lock out other important elements since I'm only using a 2 part fertilizer

So your using 5 mls per gal micro and 10 mls bloom. What kind of nutes are you using?? do they have calcium or magnesium??
I was looking up this lucas formula. Odd, have you used it before?? I'm a little skeptical.

I think that the discoloration on the Bubblegum is from some micro def. It looks in the pic as though the spots are only showing on the newer growth as interveinal chlorosis, if that is the case consider a S def like me, perhaps an Fe def. If was on older growth maybe Mg def.
The seedling looks a little different to me, maybe burn from splashed water.
