Hello all! Here are my girls, I was going for 3 got 5. Started with 6 you do the math. Had some questions. But a lil back round first. They are 32 days old, flowered after 2 weeks of veg to keep small. They are from good bag seed. Indica dominant. The hood is home made from 6" metal ducting. The 4 cfl's are 300W(65w) 2700k lights coming out to about 19000 lumins 260watts. yes I know I need a hid. I have been feeding them filtered pasteurized hpoo and wood ash for nuts. Soil is composed of pearl light top soil and verm. I flush once a week.
So my question is why are my leafs dieing. They look rotten and wet but are crumbling and dry. I was trying to keep them in the same pots are they rot bond?

Going strong but still having the same problems. They seemed to have come back to life a lil. Some of the leaves have come back. Waiting for my ph meter/nuts to get here. Figured I would post some updated pics.

What is the current Ph and Relative humidity (RH) of your grow space?
Also, what kind of ventilation do you have for the plants?

u should def invest in a Ph pen if u dont have one. Then go out and buy some quality hydroponic nutrients. IMO.

get the ph tester, hydro nutes...and then make up some 1/2 strength ph'd nutes and water with about 20%-30% runoff the 1st time....kinda flush some of the other shit out. Ph should be around 6 or so goin in.
Make sure u have a lil fan circulating air in there....and temps around 24-28 celsius.

What is a good ph tester strips? Drainage is excellent, humidity is low and temps are 80ish. There is a fan in the room see pic 1.

get urself a quality electric Ph pen if u can afford it. I wouldn't be fuckin with test strips. U can get a decent Ph pen for under 30$ im sure.
but good ones are over 100$ and they are sooooo worth it.

A fan in the room just blows the air around. It doesn't bring in fresh air from out side. This is very important for your plants as they use up co2 fairly quickly, having said that I don't think that's your problem.
Your lower leaves could be dying because of lack of light. CFL's don't have very good penetration and I'm sure that the bottom leaves aren't receiving very much light. But without knowing what your pH is and also some real nutrients that you can measure out to know exactly what their getting, I wouldn't say that's your main problem.

There is good fae during the day, only during dark is there not. Ok I will look for a ph tester pen. Should I bend them over and drop the light? Maybe that will work better for yeild? Could I use bat guano for the hole grow?

this thing is like the rolce royce of Ph meters as far as im concerned...no issues with it so far. LOVE IT.
