i came across probably an already known invention. but since i couldn't find post of it on growery must post something about it.
a good portion of us soil growers start everything in nifty red party cups.
as of recently i've been thinking and thinking of a way to clone into a red cup... and have a dome over it for the humidity..... just putting a "dome" over all the cups... dosen't keep the humidity in as i'd like.
stumbled upon pleated sandwich bags, not ziploc, but the old-school ones you had to fold over to get your sandwich to stay in.
but best of all, the sandwich bag, is just the right size to fit over the red cup and make a nice but not permanent seal. so i've been using them, along with my spray bottle misting inside the bag, and on the plant, and then putting the bag over the cup so it creates a mini-greenhouse. its keeping humidity in really nice. only thing i can see as a drawback, you need to take the bag off once or twice a day(or so i think) to keep them with enouhg fresh air.
i know, this is prolly a retarded thread. but someone may make use of it. i am.
