 How do I bring Absinthe back on a plane to the US

I'm taking a trip to Italy this spring break and i want to bring back a decent amount of Absinthe. How do I go about doing this?

if you have to take one bottle just throw it in ur suitcase wrapped in some sweatshirts or w/e, you'll prob be fine if they find it you didn't know it was illegal.
honesttly not worth the effort for more than 1 bottle its just not that good.

just put it in your checked baggage wrapped up so that it wont spill, theres not much to worry about since its legal...

safest way would be to just stick the bottles up your ass, hell you could probably bring like 2 or 3 if you wanted

Guy all I can say to that is if you can stick 2 to 3 bottles up your ass go for it.
I myself wouldn't do it, sounds painful as hell to me.

you wont get anything liquid, specially flammable past the gates man.
the best you could do is mail it i am pretty sure that it would either go unnoticed or they may not have a problem at all with you sending yourself some booze.
I can buy it here and you can in Cali also where r you landing?

I thought Absinthe was illegal in the States. But the best way is to ship it to yourself like the others stated.

I think they will let you bring in 1 bottle per person in your checked baggage without charging a tax. You could try to bring more and not declare it but then if you get searched you might get fucked. Just mail it to yourself. If customs gets to it (they prob wont) then you will just have to pay some tax on it i think. But take 1 back in your luggage they dont care that you are 20.

i think someone linked my thread where i mentioned that i brought a bottle of absinthe, a bottle of crown royal, a bottle of johnny walker, a philly cheese steak, fries, and a medium coke right onto the plane.
