Clones ITS Time, Any Sugestions

I've had so so luck just putting clones in the dirt and keeping watered.
Had a lot better success with the Jeffy dome from Walmart. It uses peat pellets.
What kind of temps should I keep clones at?
All sugestions welcomed. I want at least 6 female plants under that 1000 watt when it starts up.

I always use them. 99% clone rate too. It's rare that I have one that doesn't root.

What type of a dome are you using? How many clones does it hold?
These Jiffy huts have 25 spaces in them but I can't see them holding that many clones. Even with cutting the leaves.
Just tying to get an idea of what I need to do . Before I get started.

Basically this setup
http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=PRGS&eq=&Tp=
With this humidity dome on it
http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=PRDOMETNGW&eq=&Tp=
Only like 72 spaces on it, not as many as you want. And use rockwool instead of jiffy cubes. You could squeeze the full 72 clones in it too in my opinion, crowded but you could do it.

I have that same dome which works very well for me and if you can get rockwool cubes In my experience they work better than jiffy peat pellets, also if you put your pellets or cubes on a bed of perlite your clones root faster.

You know what's even cheaper and more easy to find? A waterbed heater...
They have an adjustable therm and everything.
I germ my seeds by sliding the baggie down next to my bed. Keeps em at 82 all the time... Have about a 95% germ. rate.

I get roots in 4-6 days the way I was talking about, and inverted I have heard good things the way you are talking about also about how long does it take for you to get roots?

I got one left over from the shroom days. 13inchs wide X 2-10 long. Testing it right now to see if it still works.
Also testing a heating pad.Temp right on the pad is a 100f. Will put a towel between it and dome. Not a good way to control heat.
Just got to get this soil grow started.

Are you using a heating mat for germinating? Or a regular heating pad? I never had a heating mat reach temps that high, but I know a heating pad would reach those temps. If you are using a regular heating pad I say ditch it, and get yourself a heating mat. A heating pads used for these purposes can be very dangerous.

Well the one time I cloned it took me about 10 days... that was with no rooting hormone or anything, just clipped, dipped, then put into moist soil just like transplanting a seedling?
It worked for me at least... I didn't use the heat that time but will next go round. I use it for germinating though!

The clones. The 3 days old. Using a water bed heater and the Jiffy trays I had and peat pellets. Will get the right tray soon.
Only 45 of them. Need more supplies.

You may want to consider adding in some perlite to your trays. It will help increase humidity and keep your substrate from drying out while the clones root. I was recently having a lot of trouble cloning. I had switched to using a heating pad and it was getting too hot. I also suspect the dome i had on there (similar to yours except longer) was too short and not giving the plants what they needed. Threw some perlite in the tray, added a new dome which was taller, and 3 days later all of my clones had rooted just fine.
