Im going to do a good long search on the forums. But I thought id ask.Ive got a large dresser im going to convert into a grow box. I got everything figured out on what im going to do, But I cant figure out where to get a set of small fans. Ive ben looking on walmart lowes and homedepot online and all I see is portable fans but there 30-40 and up. Im looking to spend maybe 10bucks at the most for each fan. Do they have them at the store itself? where would be a good place get a set from?
thanks-kush

What kind of fans are you looking for? Just fans to put in to blow around. Or intake type fans??

Well, really you only NEED an outtake, you can just have a passive intake if you wish to save money.
Questions, How big is this grow cabinet? What kind of lights are you going to be running? Growing in soil then I assume??

I might just add a small computer fan if I dont realy need the intake. That way theres something blowing air in(its going to be barried in my closet. the cab is about 5'tall, and 3'across.(estimating) and about 2-2 and a half' deep. Im going to be using cfls, about 3 of the big ones and 3-4 of the 250w cfl bulbs. Ill have to check I dont remember their equivilent-to off the top of my head. Yes ill be going soil, ive got plenty of nutes for later on. Im thinking a 5-6" fan for outake?

Well, if your only doing to do one fan you want to do an outtake at the top of your grow cab. and have the passive intake in the bottom of it. That way your venting out the warmer stale air and bring in fresh cool air from the bottom.
Do they make 5-6 inch computer fans?? Or are you meaning that you just want a little bit of pushed air down there and are still going to have a main fan at the top?
IF that's what your meaning, I think that you'll have a hard time finding the fan you want for the price it sounds like your willing to pay.

for the intake do I place it on the back at the bottom? I assume that would be the smartest place to put it, or does it not matter if its on the bottom side?. Im not sure if they make 5-6" comp fans. I was thinking of a normal portable fan or compact fan for outake and a small 3-4" fan at bottom. I guess my question should have ben what are the best small outake fan I could get for $10-15(assuming I dont need a fan for intake.)

In all honesty I have no idea what you can get for that type of price. You could always get a used fan and just modify it I guess.
