Just wondering if anyone has used this supplement? If so, what were the results, likes, dislikes? It seems to be fairly expensive ($16.99/4oz. bottle).
Discuss.......
I got a water bottle filled up by one of the landscapers on a job i work. They had a gallon jug of the stuff and after asking them about it they turned me on to this bottle of it to try out.

My uncle is a golf greenkeeper. I'm not sure about "Super", but he recommended Thrive to me for my plant's Fruiting/Flowering phase because it gives the plant Phosphorus that it needs fed either through the roots or foilage.
After some further investigating via google, I discovered Thrive had only about 5% total phosphorus (slightly more than most others average).
After greening up my plant for three days with a burst of Nitrogen I went to the shops and decided to read the labels on the packets and I came across this product which I recommend (it might not be as popular among growers than Thrive):
Miracle-Gro MaxFeed All Purpose Total Nitrogen = 15.0% Total Phosphorus = 13.1% Total Potassium = 12.4%
It's got 2 or 3 times more phosphorus than Thrive, and, it's guaranteed not to burn on any plant. Will also feed through foilage if desired. Hope this helps - Thrive might be the safer bet.

Super Thrive is just a supplement as far as i read. Not a fertilizer. It contains micro nutrients and vitamins supposedly.

Yeah my hydro shop hooked me up with it when one of my first grows got nutrient lock and went like three weeks with very little grow.
They came right out of it and finished up nicely.
I only use 1 ml per three gallons.

I went to their web site to get some more info on it since i had a hard time reading the label. The label is all cluttered and really hard to find the info i wanted. Well the website was not any better!
I see it is pretty concentrated stuff. i started using it on my plants @ 1/4 tsp. per gallon per label instructions.

You can find it for less. Remember you only use one or two drops per gallon, I liked it. Gave a little bit of a boost. You can find it at any hardware store or nursery.

Personally, I like the packaging on it... It's all nostalgic, gimmicky snake-oil type shit.. lol I think it's great.
I use it, but have absolutely zero experience otherwise as I'm using it on my first grow.
I've read alot of people saying they use it for cannabis... it's pretty popular. I really like how it's probably the only nutrient I see over and over that people feel "okay" with using during seedling/clone/sensitive stages which would otherwise not get nutes.
As for dose.. I think the package recommends a 1/4 tsp per gallon? I tend to use an 1/8 tsp per gallon, or about 2-3 drops per quart... Why do you use so little of the stuff Magash?

I only put about 3-4 drops per gallon, but I feed with every feeding. the best part is that a waterbottle sized sample like you have should last you a year or two
it's amazing stuff IMO. I did a test on 4 plants while transplanting once, the 2 fed with superthrive showed NO stress whatsoever while the 2 fed just plain water drooped for about a day before recovering.
I will never grow without it.

It is because Super Thrive is mainly vitamins and supplements in a B-1 base.

Haha I can't I can't believe this. A whole thread with SuperThrive believers, it's a miracle. I have used this stuff too since my first grows. I am just surprised because most of my prior research on it has shown many experienced growers saying it is crap, a gimmick, snake oil as said above. I have read guys saying they did side by side tests with it and found zero difference in using it. I am just glad to hear some people backing it up for once with good reasoning. I haven't done any side by side tests but I am confident that it contains B vitamins, which I know are good for my plants.
It has been used in the gardening community for a LONG time, that can't be a gimmick. I do hate the fact that the bottle makes it seem like a joke. It is like it was written by a Japanese speaking person that just learned English, you know just like the manual for that new electronic device you just bought?. Here are some actual quotes from the bottle that make me LMAO:
"Billions-proven far ahead 5 ways" ..... Say what? "Proven MOST extra life" ....... Huh??? "Beware and refuse fraudulent token-substitutes" ...... WTF is that??? "Bio-usables" ...... If you say so... "Original world-lifting life complexes" ..... wait, are we still talking about plants? " 'Best (or Greatest) PRODUCT IN THE WORLD', say many" well there you have it, settled

It is because Super Thrive is mainly vitamins and supplements in a B-1 base.
And 1-Naphthaleneacetic acid, a rooting hormone that helps promote root growth.

The dude that made the stuff is almost 100. No wonder his slogans are all in code. And the packaging design is probably due to his antiquated sense of product hype, reminiscent of hucksters of olden age. That, or he isn't interested in spending money on new design for a product that practically sells itself.

Oh and Lowes has the little oz bottle for like 12 buck. Just saw it there the other week I was compulsive shopping.

Sounds just like the Thrive Alive B-1 from TechnaFlora I have but I don't think the Thrive Alive has hormones in it.
I sure wish I had bought the tiny bottle of Super Thrive you guys mentioned. My 500ml bottle was $34. HA, oh well. TechnaFlora has a green (organic) and red label (non-organic) version. I got the organic one because one of the employees at the hydro store said he guessed that one was more popular than the non-organic.
Anyone else using the Thrive Alive instead of Super Thrive all through there grow? (not just as a nutrient for rooting)
The TechnaFlora stuff has 0.09% Vitamin B1, What's the level in the Super Thrive?
There isn't any benefit in more rooting hormones during the veg and flowering phase is there? It's just the kelp and vitamins, correct? ~P~
EDIT: I think I am wrong in the above post that the hormones in the superthrive are only for rooting. I don't see any hormones listed in the Thrive Alive though.

I'm not sure of the right answer here. But my partner uses BC's Recipe for Sucess, which uses Thrive alive and we still use Super Thrive in every feeding, it's makes a difference I promise you.

Great to hear. Thanks for the info stoney.69. love your posts.
Any of you guys ever used this stuff in foliar feeding?
I know it can be used, just wondering if anyone has any feedback. My Thrive Alive from TechnaFlora suggests 3ml per quart of water for foliar feeding. ~P~
