DAMN simple CFL question?

ok so i have 4 23w 6500k CFl today i got out an but a 42w 150w eqv. 2700 lumens 120Vac 60hz 620ma Cfl light from walmart thats the general purpose energy smart cfl... im only looking to grow 1 plant... i have all these lights will these be enough?? but most importantly how many of these new 42 watters do i need for 1 plant?? i dont fucking know what K they are all my other ones say it this one does not im like WTF?>> the other person was like yea dude wtf

why not just go and get a larger cfl from a grow shop? you could get a reflector with it to maximize the light.

I've read everything from 2000-5000 lumen/square foot, most suggesting closer to 2000.  Since each of those bulbs puts out 2700, one bulb per square foot of floor space should be plenty, if spread out evenly.

You've got almost 140w of CFL light for one plant, you will be fine. For maximum effect, hang the 42w bulb over the top of the plant and the 23's arranged in a square around the sides of the plant (all bulbs within 2" but not touching). Good luck
