Hi, Iv'e been searching around and can't find anything on it, I don't know anything about theese lights either, also if it makes any difference it's not for pot.
I have another question, could I use a low wattage bulb in a high wattage ballast, like a 100w hps in a 1000w ballast?
Not unless it is a digital ballast or the MH bulb is a converted bulb meant to work with a HPS ballast.
Since you mentioned that you are new to the lighting concept, check out different products and search the boards for the success of said bulbs/ballast combination's

So, a digital ballast can run both MH and HPS? nvm found some that could.
And can I put a lower wattage light in a higher wattage ballast. I can't seem to find any info on that, I know you can't put a higher wattage in a lower ballast..

I dont think you can do that unless you have the correct ballast to do that with? im not shure if they even make such a thing. ive never tried.
