flushing solutions
    #301441 - 10/21/09 07:01 PM (15 years, 1 month ago)

I use a flood and drain setup and up to this point ive always flushed my girls with tap water till the water coming out of the bucket was clear, let it sit a day in the tray, flush with purified, sit for a few hours then cut. the guy at my local hydro store recommended using a flushing solution instead. Anyone have input on these solutions good/bad?

Plain water is fine the reason I like the flora kleen is that it helps clean the inside of the hoses and removes the salt deposits that can form. :stoned:

Why not just clean your hoses prior to flushing it?  That's easy enough for me to do with only growing a few plants.

Well the reason for the flushing solution is to not have to clean the hoses it does it.
