 Phillips plant lights any good for marijuana

I have 120v 120 watts Phillips plant lights. I have had no good results with these lights. What do you think?
I do have this 100 watt light bulb that 20 years old. Nothing ever budded using that old bulb. They just grew straight up.

The lights are cookers. I can stand underneath a lamp and it will be 100 degrees. I have to place the lamp about 4 feet away so it doesn't burn up the plant.

Not temperature like heat production, temperature as in Kelvin (6500K is good for veg, I think around 4000K for flower).
Also, that much distance = not a good light...but then, we already knew that BECAUSE YOU SAID IT.

well if they're super hot then they're obviously heat lamps, designed to be hot and not bright.
but judging from your other posts in marijuana cult you don't know the first thing about light cycles, so I have my suspicions that may have been your problem too

Yeah, I only have luck doing it naturally. The plants I have are normally male. I can only cultivate like an eighth at a time.

I've read ten articles on the subject of lighting and periods of little. Everything states something else that another article does not. You think they just cannot be a natural hermaphrodite?

No. Plants are either male, or female.
Sometimes they develop the flowers of the other sex during flowering, but they will ALWAYS be one or the other to start with.
