clone question & light switching stress

Clone question?
So i've killed a ton of potential clones in the past. Just realized you had to expose some of the tissue(part i was missing) then dip it, then plant it. NEWAYZ i did it, planted it into coco couir, and had it slightly moist when planted. Should i water it? Or just keep the humidity up with misting inside the enclosed area?
So my real question is how much? and when? do you start actually watering new cut clones? Or do you just mist them through out?
and then about the light switching. I switched a few plants to 12/12 to gender them. Then i switched them back and put them back on a veg food, and light cycle(18/6) They just started to form little flowers when i switched them back, and it seems to be taking them a while to get back into veg. growth. Just curious if anyone knows how long light flopping stress takes to wear off. OR if ne one has done this, with a successful switch.
Thanks

First Answer- keep then covered and the soil moist but get it moist by misting not direct watering.
Second Answer- It all depends on strain but when the flowers have already appeared and then you switch back you need to clip them. When I do this I usually wait till harvest and then I just chop down the bud and leave the plant and switch it back to veg so I can reflower.

its grandaddy purple, and it's 7 plants. 5 seem to be growing new fans/leaves out of where the flower had started. but two just seem to be producing crystals, yet all of them are continuing to grow the lower branches/actual plant structure, just no more height growth has been noticed.

It shouldn't take to long with purp since its an indica and they react quickly to light changes compared to sativas.

I dont want to trim the mini buds off and im guessing they will rot and die if i dont? So i'll probably get my ass in gear, set up an area for the 400hps, and let them finish around 1 foot - 1 & 1/2 feet tall. wonder why it's been dead on here lately. Guess mushroom season is driving everyone bonkers.

The plants will revert. The number of blades on the leaves is gonna drop till it gets back to one and then the number of blades on the leaves will go back up. The process for the plants to bounce back usually takes a few weeks.

I was wondering this myself. Its just been in the past week or so that I've noticed a "slow-down" on the Growery...probably just natural cycles.

I have noticed that as well. I have thought about lurkin round the shroomery...but I don't do shrooms nor do I know anything about them.
I bet it's just this time of year. I know I've been busy lately

I have done shrooms prob 4-5 times. It was fun. The last time I did them (7 yrs ago) I ate more than I should have and had a bad experience. I think it was more the vibe I was feeling...my friend and I were the only ones that ate them....maybe it was the setting. I dunno.
No acid for me though...never had the desire. The days of me experimenting with drugs have long since passed. Just mj and scotch for me on occasion.

In my opinion psychedelics are tools to help open the mind, not drugs to get high on.
