HPS! MH lights are redundant. Fluros are for children.

The total increase for my electricity bill for my entire setup was only an extra 30-35 a month. I ran two T-12 shop lights, one squirrel cage fan @ 80 cfm, a stanley blower, a 400 watt HPS (the 600 watt light gave me the 5 dollar increase), a 12" oscillating fan, and a 6" stationary fan.
$30 a month is the cost of like one eighth bag. Think about it man!

the stanley blower helped provide fresh air into my grow room. It was a cheap, easy, and effective fix to a heat issue i was having. I don't use it any more but it was handy when i did need it.
Spare bedroom would be best, closets can present a lot of headaches dealing with ventilation and temperature issues. Plus if you're renting it's not always the best idea to go cutting holes into walls and ceilings unless you're able to do a really nice repair job.

yeah i was thinking about cutting holes being bad too...so my idea for my set up is very similar to my old one with a few tweaks...5 gallon bucket with hole in the top for the plant container...hydroton in the container. im going to start the seedling in the rockwool cubes and then into the hydroton. a couple questions i have since the tips of my leaves were yellow last time...should i just put water in the bucket underneath and add nutes when required...or mix it all together??...with an airstone of course for oxygen. and should i just pour water into the rockwool cube until the roots get long enough to reach the water underneath or just put a lot of water in the bucket so it will reach the cube and then just take more and more out as the roots get longer?

As understand it, if your air pump is up to standard there will be plenty of spray and mist from the bursting bubbles and will keep the roots nice and damp uutil they reach down to the water. iIt would probably pay to top water the clone just until roots are visible in the net pot.

fuck fluorescent lights, there only place in cultivation is clones & seeds.
You need atleast a 600w HID light for a decent grow, you should get a switchable ballast so you get MH & HPS in one system.
