This is my first time actually flowering marijuana plants. I must say it is very exciting getting this far, as my hard work is starting to pay off. I have two different bag-seed girls that are coming along nicely. They each were topped and tied down, so they have multiple main stems (multiples colas??) **I'll have pics up soon**.
Im tryin to get 1.5 oz. a plant dry weight (3 ounces total!). I'm using a 400w hps, the ventilation/circulation is perfect, foxfarm ocean forest soil is the medium, the pH and temps are fine, I LST and topped both plants, and the plants are healthy with no deficiencies, and I am currently feeding TIGERBLOOM (2-8-4).
But now to my real question, What special things should I be doing in my garden during flowering to ensure maximum bud growth and maximum potency? Please let me know some tips and tricks, as well as some obvious rules of thumb.

I guess I can think of a couple.
1)Make sure there are no light-leaks during the darkness period.
2)Be careful not to over-fertilize (burn) your plants.
3)Resist the urge to pick of buds early!
I see you are using a 400w sodium. With proper care, you can expect a minimum of 1oz per plant. 1.5oz is quite acheivable.

need to wait for pics to say for sure if it's possible, but last time I saw pics of your plants they seemed a bit small for that to happen. That may have been 2 weeks ago though, so we'll need to see the update to say for sure

Here are some top and side views of my two ladies. Im trying to get AT LEAST 3 ounces total (1.5 OZ EACH) from my girls. They are finished their second week of flowering, and just starting their third week. The nodes have lots of white hairs starting to stick out of them, I am excited!

Ventilation is important. I try to get a few room exchanges per hour. So if your room is 12x12x10, try to get a fan that blows at least 1440 cubic feet per hour.

You need to be able to evacuate the air in the room within 5 minutes...Not per hour, and its measured in cubic feet per minute(CFM rating)

time restrictions...only had 14 weeks to work with, didnt know how long the flowering was (bag seed) so i left 10 weeks for flowering, short veg time.

Watch the tiger bloom, it's notorious for dropping PH levels down way below what soil should be at.

yeah i have a pH kit so i've been testing the solutions i feed them....anyone think i could pull 3 ounces off those plants?

I think it's entirely possible, in fact I think any newbie grower can easily pull of an oz per plant, so going for 1.5 oz's per plant is not a bad goal to shoot for.

yeah im tryin to have some realistic goals you know? thats real good to hear - i created alot of budsites by tying down and topping, i just have no experience with knowing how large buds can get - ill keep u all posted

assuming they won't veg out much more, you might just get 3 ounces.
You should get at least an ounce of each of those plants either way.
