This is nothing more than a big PR stunt.
Why did Marc take a plea bargain?
Why didn't he fight this in the courts?
Much more drama involved in him going to jail.

I've offered, as well as others in a secondary fashion, an enormous variety of different things any one of us can do to help this situation, beyond just calling a senator.
If you review the thread at the Shroomery you will find that Marc and his attorneys (and others) carefully debated and deliberated the best course of action. Fighting the matter in court of course could have led to innocence. It also could have led to additional charges that kept Marc in for the rest of his life. That's the only reason he did it. He was bullied into it.
I've already called the office of the US Judge in Seattle. The person I spoke with said it "DEFINITELY" can help for the public to voice their opinions on matters of justice regarding a specific case, even as it's being decided. The office was receiving "a lot" of calls and letters on Marc's behalf, asking that his sentence be extremely reduced or that the case be denied for sentencing based on a variety of different legal matters (improper implementation of the legal system).
I am spending my time trying to change the laws. R U?

All I see you doing is yelling 'Free Marc' not 'Change the drug laws'
and I would like to see a case where someone agreed
to a sentence and got off from a public outcry

So what about the thousands of regular people in jail for simple possession.
I mean Marc agreed to his sentence, what about my friend that just got busted w/an ounce of pot. Shouldn't you be campaigning harder for him than Marc

I would honestly want to hear as many details as possible about your friend's case, and any case involving cannabis. If he was busted for personal possession and NOTHING else (ie he wasn't trying to kill or steal or harm someone) than I believe he should not be penalized.
Your friend is just as important to me as Marc. I just happen to connect with Marc and Jodie for whatever reason. Lots of others are connecting with them because of the amount of help they provided people. Without Marc, you still have mids and regs for $10/eighth that tastes like burnt popcorn and provides and iffy buzz.

Trying to focus on one person is really not going to solve anything.
Your attention should be on trying to get the prohibition laws changed.
I know that if I was a politician I would disregard any letter urging me to free a convict.
especially a convict that accepted a plea bargain for crying out loud
Letters urging me to make changes/adjustments in current laws would get my attention much quicker.
I will be the first to eat a piece of crow pie is this plan of yours works.
But I do not have any concerns about that happening.
Continue fighting the wrong battles if you want man
just don't expect the majority of people to believe
that Marc should be set free for breaking the law
