I'm setting out on my first grow and due to family, I wont be able to start until the start of the year. But I'm starting to gather the necessary tools and supplies. If I order seeds how long do they "stay good"? should they be the last thing to buy? also I'm using soil(fox farm) how does that hold up? it would stay in my garage. Thanks for the info. Back to reading. Stan

Throw your seeds in an airtight container and put it in the freezer. Your soil will never "expire". It will be the same in January if it is just sitting in your garage.
Just a couple of plants. In a grow box, maybe one of those PC one but their almost $400. Stealth is needed, and this will be my first time so starting slow and small. Looking to use the SCRoG method. -Stan

That is if you want to produce top quality shit on a small scale. You could also use CFLs (they don't really create a heat problem), but you will get loose buds.
