peat pellets were always the easiest for me. Hydrate, plant, light, transplant. Can't beat that, plus they're dirt cheap and don't require any PH balancing.

I'm gonna try it next time that's why I wanted to see it. Rockwool is okay I mean it works but it can be a pain in the ass sometimes if you're as lazy as I am

Visited the new hydro shop that opened up a 1/2 hr north of me. Nice people for sure, good location, good inventory, shall be going there a lot more often. Picked up a bag of ocean forest and transplanted the two sprouts into some small pots (1/2 gal i think). One of the sprouts already had it's taproot poking out the side, the other baby got hung up on some compacted peat. Had to poke around a little bit to free up the seed husk and let it stretch up. Hopefully it'll poke up like the other one by tomorrow.

Hydro shops are great. I can spend hours in the ones around these parts. Good people and good products. Just a bit overpriced. But I can really justify the price by the ease of the transactions plus supporting the local economy is important to me. Good luck!

yup, the people who own this shop seem like decent folk. Plus i'll pay a little extra for added security and accessibility. Found a good hookup for nutrients though, so at least i won't be paying out the ass for tiny bottles. Just need soil, maybe some equipment, and big bags of perlite.

Small update:
Just checked the sprouts this morning. The little bit of help i gave to the stuck one was perfect. Popped right out of the pellet and is now reaching for the light. Another day and the cotes will spread open and I'll be on my merry way to sexing and bushing them out for clones.
Buddy said he would stop by on sunday to drop off a few flo seeds so I'll be prepping them next week.

Sprouts are going well, I'll take some pics of them tomorrow. I think im gonna hold a contest on sexing them. I believe that i will end up with one male and one female, but that's just a ballpark guess (im hoping for two girls). It's been my experience that the plants which grow quicker tend to become males in the end and one sprout is definitely outdoing the other.
Heading over to my boy's place tonight to pick up my first sack in the past two weeks as well as a few of those flo seeds. I'll put them in peat pellets tomorrow and add them to this log.

Those are the sour d seeds right there. First closeup is of the plant on the right in the first pic, second the one on the left. The two flo seeds I planted have popped and are pushing up. Should be by at the most tomorrow night before they push all the way up. Then off to soil and up with the others for a month til I can sex them.

What soil are you using? And what nute cocktail?
I'm curious, and yet it will probably mean nothing to me since I don't use premix soils or bottled nutes...I just always want to know what other people use!

Soil is Ocean Forest from Fox Farm. No nutes yet, will pick up a bottle of grow big for veg and probably the flora nova series for flowering + gravity and maybe some sweet/carbo load.

One of the flo sprouts has a mutated seed leaf. Like like there's three leaves on it, kinda tiny, but I'll do my best to get a pic up if i can. Definitely need to get myself a fan in there, just had to wait til i got paid today to do so. So, that's the next edition to the closet. I hate it when they're this young, feels like it takes forever til they start getting big lol.

Sour D #1
Sour D #2
Flo #1
Flo #2
Sour D seeds have been vegging for 16 days and the flo seeds for about 8 or so. Going a little slow, but I have patience so it's no big deal. I'll be picking up a bottle of some veg nutes next weekend and will start to feed the Sour D seedlings small doses for a little bit.
Flo seedlings are doing ok, one of them looks like it's having a rougher time then the other with the soil. No burn yet, but it doesn't seem as happy. Hopefully it'll bounce back with no problems.
