dude dont waste your money. it will grow your plants, but so will many other things for a fraction of the cost. personally i say stay away from pre-built systems, building your own takes a little more time and research but your pocket will thank you

I'm not sure why you would wonder if they would work?  It's what they are sold to do.  What exactly is your concern about them?  Those are some good systems but like the guy above me you can build something and maybe take a bit more pride in it and save a few $$$.  id say ud be better off spending that money on your light{s}.

honestly ive built so much custum shit right now i need a break .
ive decided on this tho

http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/product.php?xProd=16&xSec=60
its versatile enough for me that part and mods are pretty cheap
now i can focus on lights and cooling my problem is im faced with either using a room close to a snooping old lady using a y adapter to use both my dryer and fan on the same exit or using a room in the middle of my house and drilling holes in either the floor near the closet run tubing from the top of the room to exit air to my crawlspace

pic if it helps

ide really like to use the old lady room its near perfect.plant some mint and other smelly stuff by the 2 windows. get a tub of charcoal, get a med charcoal filter, im hoping that will be enought

looks like i might have found a lighting system too. witch will take care of my next problem heat. now i could throw it in a closet if i wanted too i hear HPS is better tho. but that will mean no closet and ill have to get a big exhaust fan. i kinda wanna keep it under $220
and have it last a bit

altho i live in a shitty state it has its rare moments to shine

if i can regulate how much i have i should be ok
