 Band of the Week

I am going to be trying to give some kind of weekly post here on the growery, and I might post on the shroomery to. So I am going to begin by holding a poll of what genre should I start with. I am figuring that I will have a different genre every month.
Onto the polls!
I will take first/second/third place as the first three genres.
Winners!
Classic Rock first place
Metal, Progressive Metal, and Rock all tied for second.
Metal/Progressive metal will share the Second month; but there will be two Bands of the Week for that month.
So as it stands.
September: Classic Rock
October: Metal/Progressive Metal
November: Rock

Classic Rock and Progressive tied for the lead so far.
I think I will check in around this time tomorrow. I will then post a choice of bands for twelve hours and record the top 4-5 bands and what order they are in. Then try to write my post after.

I record the top 3 results and will then go 3 months over those genres, Then on the next vote I will post 3 new genres and the two losers from the last round.
If a genre loses 3 times in a row it gets put out of rotation for at least 6 months.
First place winners get to return for vote automatically in 6 months.

yeah man, that's a horribly narrow field of options. it's basically all just different flavors of Rock.
Plus, no STAl. so Invalid poll/thread/user

Well I don't like many other things so I cant give any better choice.
I'll do other ones, but for my first go I want to focus on these.

My matter of choosing Band of the Week's have changed.
I am choosing bands, and your just in charge of genre.
But the next vote will go much more democratic, I devised a new system you can read here.

your poll should have thrash, not metal, i know this could be considered in the same genre, but people that know thrash, know damn sure its not fucking metal,
