wilted leaves and grasshoppers
    #272043 - 08/29/09 01:04 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

Hey all,
having trouble with grasshoppers... I hate the little things... I captured and assassinated one... hung him up as a warning to the other grasshoppers, but that didnt seem to effect there mood, or deter them in any way.
this is a problem, for the little jerks are eating all of my sun leaves.
the second problem is this... one of my larger plants has wilting and crisping lower leaves... i use no fertilizer... just water and sun.
it has been really friggin hot here though, close to 110 where the plants are located... the tops of all plants look great... but this one just seems a little "sad".
any ideas about either dilemna?

Did that rat work for Blackwater?  I would probably google grasshopper infestation or something to get an answer on how to eradicate them.

I was referring to those iraqies that killed and hung up the blackwater contractor years ago in Iraq.  But don't get me started on blackwater or whatever they call themselves now.

thnx magash... that product should eradicate those little pricks.... dont typically like to use any chems, but this stuff seems pretty legit.
stupid thrips are being especially ornry as well, perhaps all of these little jerks can dine and die together... sort of like drinking the special koolaid at those great churches Im always hearing about.

As stated in the subject posting, I am still noticing some crisping leaves at the base of now 3!!! of my kids... heat has subsided,( down to a balmy 90 degrees) but still noticing this issue... any ideas anyone?

Would have to see a pic but it could be caused by the damage caused by the thrips.
