i just got back from there saturday
i was in vancouver
it was sweet
didn't do any mesc, though i had the chance
i did tonnes of acid, mda, k, amphetamine, and smoked loads of weed.

it always makes me puke though
i've only done it three actually and i happened to puke two times
the first time i only took a few hundred mgs and i was fine, i had also been eating psilocybe cyans... that was krewe du vieux so right around valentines day
2nd time was on Lundi Gras this year(day before mardi gras) and that was like 500 mg dose
and the other time was after that was like 300 mg and an E pill during jazzfest, which was the last weekend of april/first weekend of may
it was one of the few psychedelics i had never taken

You're lucky to find pure mescaline, every time I wanna try I've had to consume copious amounts of cacti matter  -not fun. I may try an extraction method one day when I've got the time and materials.
All but a handful of times I've been sick, usually on the come-up, whilst that's awful at the time the experience makes it totally worth it. 
I think its time I bought some p.torch powder...

Man I wish I could find some peyote... I'm considering growing it myself, anyone have any experience??
In the US san pedro is legal and you can extract pure mesc from that. Therefore US is still > canada

yeah i'm pretty sure you can.
cut it and let the cutting sit for about a week to heal and then put it in the soil and it should be good to go. it works with other cacti, i'm assuming SP is the same
