i have an outdoor plant. Its been in flowering for about close to 2 weeks now. and im starting to notice that some of the leaves are starting to mutate? some look like a sickle, and theres others that are 2 leafs instead of 7 im not sure whats going on.?
The number of "fingers" on the new leaves will reduce as the plant continues to flower, that's normal. 2 is kind of an odd number though, I've always seen 7 -> 5 -> 3 -> 1.
The sickle shaped leaves kind of have a claw look to them and the side of the leaf roll under, right? If so, that is usually due to over ferting, Nitrogen specifically, but can also be caused by moisture stress (under/over watering), root bound plants and even heat stress. Pics of the plant would help a lot.
Is your plant in a pot outside or in the ground? What's your feeding and watering schedule? What kind of fertilizer?
As long as the sickle effect is only happening to a few leaves, and it doesn't progress further, I wouldn't worry all that much.
