Long-Term mary jane storage?
    #259309 - 08/03/09 09:37 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

I was wondering what is the longest amount of time you can store properly cured mary jane? And what's the best way to store it?

Probably for years. Hash i think drops in potency at around 1 year.

Guess it all depends on how well it's stored.  Like say, in an airtight jar or vacuum sealed food bag

That was what I thought, but didnt know how long it would last in those bags. Should the bags then be frozen? Or would they be good as is?

Jeez, I don't think I could do that, haha. I think they would be just fine not frozen.

Vaccum sealer as said above. Then bury it in the ground so you cant touch it.

Lol. I wont have a problem with not touching it. I'll still have buds curing. So I guess vacuum sealed it will be.

vacume sealing will compress the buds slightly popping trichomes and making them get stuck to the inside of the bag,

if you're a pimp you can vacuum seal a jar so that there's no air inside but it won't compress the buds either

I've used rubber Maid products instead of jars. You need to drill holes in them. Buds stayed sweet.

So rubbermaid containers with holes drilled in them, and them vacuum sealed will work? Have any of you ever vacuum sealed a jar?

How long do you think those tight vac containers would keep bud fresh?
